Meet Robert Vasquez
Robert Vasquez brings decades of experience in the print industry, where he developed extensive skills in graphic design, scanning, and color separation for a wide range of projects, including business cards, magazines, posters, and more. Through years of hands-on experience, he mastered both the technical and creative aspects of print production.
In 2021, Robert founded AquaScan, combining his industry knowledge with specialized techniques to create high-quality memorial stones and porcelain portraits. This work required mastering a unique process, as porcelain portraits are produced on porcelain-coated steel and require precise imaging and durability.
To achieve this, Robert learned to work with specialized Canon printing systems capable of producing photographic decals using toner formulated with glass-based materials. This advanced process allows images to be permanently fused into porcelain, creating long-lasting, weather-resistant memorial pieces.
Since launching AquaScan in 2021, Robert has continued to refine his craft, delivering durable, high-quality memorial products that honor memories with precision, care, and professionalism.
